Maybe. Did you ping by number or by name? If by name, do you have the 
relevant entries in *all* of the /etc/hosts files? Or else, are all of 
the names resolvable on your DNS?

Just for luck, try pinging each machine, by IP address, from each of the 
other machines. This will help narrow down the source of the problem.
