Hi,

I've got FreeBSD 2.1.0-RELEASE installed on my ThinkPad 755.
The kernel panics with a write (page not present) page fault when APM
is configured and apm code is executed. I believe that this is a
known problem.

Can anyone tell me which version (if any) of FreeBSD has this problem
fixed. If it has been fixed, can I use the newer APM modules with
my older kernel source, or is a new kernel in order?

 Your advice greatly appreciated!
