Huh?  Are you using a notebook, or something completely different?  All
of the notebooks I'm aware of use LCD monitors, and are driving by
different video chipsets.  Are we talking about the same thing?

I've had it running on at a half-dozen various notebooks here, so yes
I'm sure it works.  I'm the primary 'laptop' support dude for FreeBSD, 
so I *hope* it works.
