I have ppp -auto running in the background.  Occasionally the modem 
disconnects, and ppp dosn't notice.  Because ppp didn't notice that the 
modem dropped, it never trys to reconnect, is there some option I should 
be setting to the modem so that if CD drops, PPP notices it right away?
