Hello everybody.

I need some advise on hardware for a small time internet gateway I intend
to provide for my organization.

Here's my situation: We have 10 employees who needs to access the net
from their homes. I want to build a 8-line Internet Gateway Server to
provide them basic net services like email, ftp, telnet, www, netnews via
SLIP/PPP dialin. My company already has a T-1 dedicated line with UUNET,
a Cisco router and a CSU/DSU unit here in our office. We currently use the
T-1 line for several Apache web servers.

Can anyone please tell me what type of Motherboard, CPU speed, Bus type,
Ethernet card, Serial port cards, Ram (parity or non and how many is
needed to service say 8 simultaneous users), SCSI adapter that's
compatible with BSDI v2.1???

I would like to run this on a SINGLE PC.

Thanks in advance.

Bill
