I was downloading and installing a few new apps today and ran across a
rather baffling problem. Both Pine 3.95 and XV (both newly installed
from packages-current on the ftp site) refuse to run:

ld.so: xv: Can't find shared library "libc.so.3.0"

Is this a new file that's part of the 2.1.5 release (I'm running 2.1.0,
waiting for my subscription disk!)? Is it somewhere in the 2.1.0 dists?
If so, where?

Can someone give me a clue what to do about this?

Thanks!

Oh, and BTW, I ended up doing a complete new install on my new 3.2 gig
drive (re: Adding a second drive -- file system layout advice?).
Luckily, I hadn't already made *too* large an investment of time in
customizing my FreeBSD setup on the old drive. :-)
