Its the novelty of the idea, not the reference material that is meant to
sell.  We used to (and maybe still do) sell a t-shirt that was a C language
reference chart.  It was printed upside down, so you could refer to it
while you were wearing it.

As for a VI mug, I wouldn't let it sit on my desk too often because you
can only get into so many flame wars before you toss that mug at somebody's
head, and break one or the other.
