Ok, so I saw this thread and thought it looks interesting. Could
someone tell me why not to my a Matrox Millennium card?

I have a SONY 17sfII and I am looking at various video cards that will
work well with Linux (DOS/Windows too) and this monitor. 

So what's the problem with Matrox? I've heard that it would be wise to
avoid Diamond cards too, is this correct?
