I am also having trouble with the 2.1.5 install. I am trying to
install via ftp. Everything seems fine right up to the point where ppp
starts. It is my understanding that when ppp starts I should type
'term' to switch ppp to terminal mode so I can use AT commands to dial
my modem and connect to my service provider. After I type in term,
everything locks right up and I am forced to do a cold boot. Any
ideas, anyone?

I have successfully installed 2.1.0 with no problems (via ftp).
Shouldn't I be able to install 2.1.5 the same way? Or is there
something I am missing here?

I am attempting to do a fresh install of 2.1.5, not an upgrade.

Thanks
