I am having some problem attempting to dialup using ppp. I am using trumpet
winsock for dialling purposes.

These are some of the errors/problems:
1.) kernel: ppp0: stalled output
2.) truncated output
3.) from the dialup ppp machine, I could ping the server machine
but from the server machine, I could not ping the dialup machine
4.) from the dialup ppp machine, I could connect anywhere else
using their IP addresses but I could not connect using their hostnames
5.) when the ppp machine logs off, the PPPdialin.down file is not
executed

When I do a "tcpdump -i ppp0" and
a.) I ping from the dialup machine to the server -- it's OK b.) I ping from the
server to the dialup machine -- only
the request is there with no reply (also, the modem doesn't transmit)

Help.
