i also installed cap6.0#196 on a 133MHz PCI pentium running 2.2-960323-SNAP
as described in the www doc mentioned above. in the Configure i only changed
the default answers  in the www doc.

however it was extremely slow, despite the MULTI_BPF_PKT patch to
support/ethertalk/bpfiltp.c. after adding the same patch to
lib/cap/absched.c it is considerably faster, but still takes, say,
15 seconds to copy a 1.7MB file from a AV80 (or whatsitsname)
onto the otherwise idle cap machine.

any way to speed it up?
