I have a 486-66 with an Adaptec controller and a Conner 1 GB HD. The
FreeBSD install/boot disk works fine, but when it asks for the files
disk (the one with the A:\bin\bin.xx files) it stalls and says,

"Error mounting floppy fd0 (/dev/fd0) on /dist"

uh oh what did I do wrong? Please email back to pieris@pmb.net, thank
you so much.
