I cannot verify this myself, but everybody using Netatalk with FreeBSD
(2.1) (including the author)  claims that atalkd cannot do seed routing.
You need to put either an AppleTalk seed router on the net, or a second
ethernet interface on the FreeBSD macine and use UAR.

CAP does no require this.
