My problems happened before I even got the kernel installed! (i.e. while running mkfs and MacBSD Installer Utility 1.0) After creating appropriate partitions using 7.5.3's HD SC Setup program; Under 7.1: Both mkfs and Installer do not allow "OK" button to be clicked. Under 7.5.3: mkfs gives "Error on SCSIRead(), #5", but seems to format OK. Then, the installer utility gives the same error after "Mounting partition 'A' as /". I continued, installed netbsd11 OK, but then got a hang half way thru installing base11: -r-x... /bin/sh sz8192. Unimplemented trap Restart Anyone got any ideas, or know if anyone is still supporting these two utilities?
