Hi, there:

I'm trying a ftp installation of netbsd on a pentium box. I'm using a
WD8003E ethernet board, IRQ 9, IO 280, RAM D0000. It is correctly
detected at boot time, but when I want to ftp or ping, it complains:
"ed0: device time out". I had set the address and the route correct.
I also tried to use other SMC cards, but there is noway to configure
them to use IRQ 9 except software approaches( correct me if I'm wrong).
Does anyone has similar experience?

Thanks in advance,
