ahc drivers are PCI or EISA only.  boot -c lists ISA drivers only, so
you won't seen it there.

However, there _is_ an ahc driver in the kernel.  The aic7770 is
supposed to be scanned on the EISA bus.

I think you need to turn off any ISA emulation in the EISA setup, but
i'm not entirely sure.  It's been a long ago time that i've seen the
last HP Netserver under FreeBSD (fairly long before 2.1.5).
