Hello,

Thanks to all who helped solve my snd0 device problem.

I am confused about not being able to make /usr/ports/net/Mosaic
which fails to retrieve a valid tar.gz file via ftp. My PPP link is
working perfectly, and I did manually retrieve the 2.6.tar.Z, but
now the checksum is incorrect (yes, transfer mode was I, or bin).

Neither netscape nor netscape2 can be retrieved, either (the files
just don't seem to exist at the ftp sites.

I would really like to install a GUI WWW browser, since lynx is not
able to render some stuff.

I am running 2.1-R from the Walnut Creek CD, if anybody is interested.

Thanks for any ideas!

John Hermes
