I am a newcomer to FreeBSD -

After installation (2.1.5 Release) I created a user in my name using all
the defaults (adduser).

When I log in as root, a message is displayed that I should rather log in
as myself and then SU to root. When I try this, I am told that I am in
the wrong group to SU root.

How do I fix this please?

Please could you e-mail your reply so that I can be sure receive it.
