Is multi-session CDROM supported by FreeBSD ?

Own experience:
  FreeBSD-2.1.0-RELEASE using ATAPI IDE CD-ROM
Multi-session CDROMs are readable if only one session is present.
When a second session is present the directory structure is scrambled.
Multi-session CDROMs can be read on same CDROM player when using Windows95.

How is the multi-session CDROM support intended to be, in this
and future versions of FreeBSD. I heard that Linux has support for
  multi-session CDROMs.
