Hmm!  That's no good!  I wonder what it is about your hardware that's
causing this?  I presume you've verified your 2.1.5 boot.flp image and
the media?

Right, because root.flp is gone.  I'm almost thinking of creating a
special root.flp for 2.1.5 which wouldn't actually be used by it but
would make the 2.1R installer happy (at which point we could at least
get people's systems up in these situations).
