It's more correct problem description : I try to install 2.1.5R on old, buggy ( under Netware ) HP Netserver LC DX2/66 with embedded aic7770 ( aha2742 ) SCSI host adapter. GENERIC kernel can not find any ahc devices. Ever if i 'boot: -c' - there are NO ahc device in kernel configuration. I mean there no ahc device in list of Storage Devices. Nothing changed after building new kernel with ahc code. :-( Is it possible ? Sergey
