Should is the operative word. On my web site the time I sat and logged for a
week less than 1 in 10000 requests coming in was using RFC1323. Now what I
also don't know of course is if the content favoured a given OS (but its
stuff like a tourist board so unlikely to)

I've never even been able to duplicate it so I cannot offer any
explanation other than that it could be a VJ header compression property. If
someone has a receipe for this I'd like to chase it further.
