Hi,

I am trying to install FreeBSD-2.2-<LAST>SNAP on a laptop with a
3C589C (COMBO PCMCIA card. Everything goes fine using the standard zp
driver, but not when the card is hooked on the BNC port (zp0 always
detect only the RJ-45) ...

I have tried with the last PAO but had no success to even detect
correctly the card. It seems that the card doesn't send anything with
dumpcis (it just can see that there is a card in slot x ...).

Tried also with the last Linux slackware boot disk, but, a similar
problem occurs, because the cable connector is mis-detected (BNC when
it's RJ-45 and vice-et-versa) ...

In the two cases, any ifconfig command just switch of the green light
on the "combo cable connector" ...

Did somebody encounter such a problem ?

Obviously, but it is not a criterion for me, it works well with the 95
thing ...

I need someone's help bad !

TIA
