As a full host on the internet if the standards require you to strip off,
jump through a flaming hoop backwards and sing happy birthday to an unborn
child you *do* it, its difficult is not an excuse.

Besides you don't need to patch tin, because if it was tins fault you
could simply get the source and recompile it correctly, but since the
fault is almost certainly in the configuration of INN you should fix
that.
