Hello,

I'm following the instructions on page 59 of the book Installing and
Running
FreeBSD to create a symbolic link /var to point to /usr/var. But when I
entered

# tar cf - . | (cd /usr/var; tar xf - )

as specified in the book, it said:

tar: unknown option. Use 'tar --help' for a complete list of options.

What's wrong with that command? Your help would be appreciated.

Andy
