Hello,

You seem to know what you are doing so do you mind if I ask some
questions? Actually, I've got a problem.

My installation of FreeBSD 2.1.0-RELEASE does not seem to want to boot.
I looked and looked but can only find a FAQ that states my disk geometry is
wrong. I checked but BSD seems to find the correct CHS that coorespond to
my BIOS.

	Some hardware background would be:
		486DX250 Intel
		HD C: 850MB Conner
			partition 1	508MB Dos
			partition 2	not used
		HD D: 235MB Maxtor
			partition 1	139MB DOS
partition 2	74MB mounted as / for FreeBSD

I'm installing the minimum installation, the /bin distribution from
ftp.freebsd.org on partition 2 of HD D:. I plan to create one freebsd
partition on HD C: and mount it as /usr and another as /var.

Does this sound good? My problem is that upon booting the Boot Manager,
the F? prompt appears again everytime I press the corresponding F-key for
FreeBSD. Can you help me?

Anyone out there can help me?

My e-mail address is hu_z@uhdvx3.dt.uh.edu or ce_zhh@hal.lamar.edu

Thanks.

Z. Huey Hu
