If you're interrested, when I originally had this problem (using the
ep driver patched by the guys in Japan), a "tcpdump -i ep0" would
free it up too.... but that stopped working around the March(ish)
release of the PCMCIA code.

I never got around to figuring out what BPFILTER stuff had changed.
