Sheesh.  Sorry, but you should really start to *think* before posting.

If he gets "Device not configured" (ENXIO), he apparently does already
*have* the device nodes, but the driver failed to detect an IDE CDROM
drive.  The ATAPI CDROM driver has been much improved since 2.1R,
hence my advise to upgrade.
