The generic lpt driver should do it (unless your deskjet suffers from the DeskJet 500/520 "We don't support multi-user operation for these devices (copyright for this answer by HP)" syndrome -- the lpt driver has been fixed later to tolerate HP's braindead timing). Of course, if you are asking whether there are programs that could generate raw PCL bits to send to this printer (via the driver, of course), this is a totally different kind of matter.
