Hi,
I have tried to use ppp on FreeBSD for a long time. Finally, I read a
post in the newsgroup who wrote down his scripts for /etc/ppp/ppp.conf ,
/etc/ppp/ppp.linkup and /etc/resolv.conf. Somehow, it works, at least it
seems that I can dial OK and login OK. However, , I don't know what to
do next so that I can open xwindow, or do something else.

I mean, I "ppp" first, and then, the prompt changed to be "PPP on
ilin>"(I define my machine has the name ilin), then,I "dial host", and
few seconds alter, it said "login OK!". So, it seems work, right? but
then, under that prompt, what should I do next?? I have tried "help", b
ut I still can't do anything like "telnet"... I even can't see my home
directory in my ISP(at least, it seems that I am not in my home
directory.) Could anyone tell me what I should do next? Thanks.
