NetBSD-1.1 does not support the Sun4m in any shape or form. What you
might want to do is grab the prerelease NetBSD-1.2-beta snapshot
(which is pretty close to release-level code) and install that. It 
should be trivial to upgrade from 1.2-beta to 1.2-release or -current
from that point.
