My computer also has a Seagate hard disk and I get a message similar
to the one above instead of the installation menu.  The boot disk
works because   the menu comes appears on another computer with a
Western Digital hard disk.  It looks as if I will have to go back to
Linux or to MSDOS because nobody appears to have the answer.
