I'm trying to install (via FTP) FreeBSD 2.1-960627-SNAP on a Pentium/200.
However, I'm having difficulty with getting it to recognize either the
3COM Fast Etherlink III (3c595) or the Intel EtherExpress/100b, the two
PCI Ethernet cards available to me. Here are the messages I get after
the kernel has been uncompressed:

For the 3c595:
pci0:10: vendor = 0x10b7, device = 0x5950, class = network (ethernet)
int a irq 9 [no driver assigned]

For the EE/100b:
pci0:10: Intel Corporation, device = 0x1227, class = network (ethernet)
int a irq 9 [no driver assigned]

Since the release notes for the 2.1.5 beta indicate that both cards are
supported, and as I can't find any necessary special treatment for
either card listed in the hardware notes, I'm puzzled. Is there any
step in the configuration process (for either the cards or the kernel)
I'm missing that is necessary to make these devices work? Any assistance
that is offered will be greatly appreciated . . .

Thanks,
