Demon users do not have "shell" accounts, we are our own nodes, demon only
supply a mail storage service and a gateway.

But that's only applicable to unix, and is assuming that the ISP doesn't
check that people aren't leaving unattended sessions working away. The
nohup prevents the login being dropped when you exit.
