I am experiencing the same error while installing 2.0.5 on a Compaq
3/25 laptop. Ir never happens at /bin, but happens at differenct
spots in the distribution sets.

It does allow me to continue the installation with a warning that not
all distribution files were loaded. However, now it appears that some
required files are missing, atleast that's what the compiler says when
I try to recompile. I may try Ken's cache suggestion.
Unfortuneately, I am doing a FLOPPY install, sooooo it takes a while.
