I've got a Motorola BitSURFR Pro with FreeBSD and I'm trying to get it
to connect using PAP with my providers Ascend MAX. This is what I get
when I connect:

CHANNEL B1

CARRIER 64000

PROTOCOL: PPPC

SESSION ID: 1

CONNECT 115200
~ }#À!}!}!} }2}!}$}&@}"}&} } } } }#}$À#|%~

I don't get a login: or a password: prompt. Windows95 can make the
connection, but I'm lost as to what I should do to get FreeBSD ppp to
make heads or tails of it. Does anyone have something like this
working? Could you post an example of your script. If you do have it
working, what about MultiLink PPP? Am I just dreaming, or is this a
possibility?

Thanks in advance,

Paul
