Are you sure this will fix the eact problem?? How do you disable the
cache for my motherboard? 

My computer stats are: P166, 32 ram, 256 KB cache ram, 2 gig SeaGate
hard disk and an Adaptec 7850 hard disk controller.

I've been trying to install freebsd 2.2 snap because this is the
latest freebsd that supports my hd controller.
