Let me point out some basic facts:
1) The {whatever}BSD world is populated with more than it's share
of abrasive people who can't play nice with other children. You
pick which ones they are-- it doesn't matter.
2) We all recognize the truth in #1.
3) You aren't going to persuade anybody by posting your side of the
story or by responding to people from the other side. Everybody
has either already made up their mind or they don't care.
I personally dislike a fair number of people who are involved in
some of these projects, but I don't let it get to me. It doesn't
matter if I like them. In fact, I don't have to deal with them
*ever* if I don't want to. I recommend you just laugh at it, say
"what an asshole" and let it go.
