I'm trying to configure my network card to talk to our Sun systems and
am getting "ed1: device timeout" after configuring the card. I'm using
a DLink DF-220T card (and tried also with a SMC card) under FreeBSD 2.0.5.
The system recognises the controller, my sysconfig has assigned a network
address and default router (we're using 10Base-T to a Novell system with a
router to route to the Suns). The system works fine under Windows with
Trumpet. Any idea what the error message really means?

Thanks!
