When trying to boot from the floppy from a SNAK (the latest one, I
think) release, for a system with 4MB of RAM, I get the following
error message: "panic: unwire: page not in pmap". Also, just after
this message appears, the menu appears, then after a few seconds, the
keyboard locks up. Previously, I had been able to get past this point.

The system being used is a Hewlett-Rand (AMI bios, I think) with 4MB
of RAM, 80386-DX microprocessor and no 80387. The controller for the
serial port, parallal port, floppy (and floppy tape) and IDE hard
drive is all on one board - one of those no-name made in
outer-Mongolia type boards. From what I recall, it's got one largish
IC that may have some useful part number/IC mfr's name on it, but I
forgot to write it down - if this could make any difference, I'll
check it.

Also, changing various BIOS parameters doesn't seem to help any. I've
got all of the shadow RAM turned off. Note that I'm not sure what all
of these various BIOS parameters are. It's so much easier to set up
and play with systems like PERQs, PDP-11s and various non-IBM type PC
UNIX boxes like Suns. :-)

Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can provide with this!
