Yes, but...  a message on an important topic is appreciated.  An
occasional message on the topic isn't bad.  But at this point, I find
myself slipping into a knee-jerk reaction of thinking of Mr. Van Avery
as just a Chicken Little, even though I know that's not true.  There
are many, many important objectives for Linux, of which 3d graphics is
only one.  I really don't need to see a half dozen theses written on
this topic every couple of days.

I'd say it's time for Mr. Van Avery to establish a free3d mailling
list and invite everybody who has responded to his past posts to join,
and try to get his 3d project going in earnest.  The time and energy
he is devoting to wakeup calls would (IMHO) be better directed to
solving the problems he has raised.
