Until now, I was patiently tolerating it and kill-filing all of the threads he started. But now, he posted a message in comp.os.linux.development.system saying he's going to stop posting about it there, and then ten hours later, here he is posting about it in comp.os.linux.development.apps. Mr. Van Every, I assure you that if people are sick of you in comp.os.linux.development.system, they're probably sick of you in comp.os.linux.development.apps too. Maybe you're right. Maybe Linux is going to lose because there isn't enough interest in developing freeware 3D code for it. But YOU'VE MADE YOUR POINT. You're not changing anyone's mind at this point; all you're doing is irritating people who have seen your shpeil over and over again and simply don't care any longer (if they ever did). Your continued preaching does a disservice to the cause you are advocating. Welcome to my KILL file. You really earned it. (I realize that meta-postings of this sort are frowned upon, and I've tried to resist posting an article like this about Mr. Van Every, but enough is enough. I've directed followups to my mailbox, because I have no desire to start a flame-war about whether his postings are useful or not; I simply wanted to let people know that I'm sick of them and that I highly doubt I'm the only one.)
