Yes, I've added 'set timeout 0' to the script for the server I'm using.
Also, I additionally have tried issuing the timeout command at the PPP
command prompt prior to dialing my server.

This is true, but not bad; you can work around this if you're aware of
it.

What is the latest version of iijppp?  I guess I'd like to try
upgrading, if possible.
