I have a Avance Logic 2301 video card. Whenever I exit X windows, the
text mode is restored, but the text is all scrambled. It seems that
the characters that I type in are translated into something else on
the screen. Spaces appear as @ .

I tried using vidcontrol to change the mode to 80x25 vga and 80x25
ega. The video mode will change, but the charecters still are
scrambled. The same thing happens when you change fonts.

Anyone know how to cure this problem?
