Whoa!  My IDE CD-ROM worked right out of the box with the 2.1 release on 
CD-ROM and it's worked with all the SNAPs since.  "Experimental" may mean it 
doesn't work on all IDE CD drives, but certainly doesn't mean it's busted for 
every IDE CD drive.
