Hi,

Last Sunday, I tried to install NetBSD from the GateWay 2 on an Amiga 1200
with a blizzard 1230/50Mhz/32MB FAST &SCSI Kit.

First, I selected the CD_boot.
Unix starts and show my configuration
sd0 for the internal SCSI hard-disk,
sd1 first external harddisk,
sd2 second external harddisk
cd0 cdrom ...

I selected 'cd0' for root.

Because I'm installing the BSD the first time, I have selected
'Installation from scratch'
After checking, the system give my the choice : sd1 where I had prepared 4 partitions
for Unix. (UX0: for root,UX1: for swap,UX2: for usr,UX3: for local)
I continued the installation by selecting the sd1 drive to format and mount the root
partition.
After that, the installation programm asked me to choose the 'usr' partition in a list of partitions. Disklabel show me 7 partitions on sd1:
  # type
a: 4.2BSD configured for the swap partition
d: 4.2BSD configured for the usr partition
e: 4.2BSD configured for the local partition
f: unused configured in for MAC
  g: ADOS
  h: ADOS
  k: ADOS

I enterred : d
but the programm answered : shift: can't shift that many
			    d isn't a valid ...

What is wrong ??

How can I format and mount by hand the /usr partition ?

Thanks for any reply.
