A better fix is to put a Cw line in your sendmail.cf as follows:

Cwconundrum.com

Then restart sendmail.  This tells sendmail to accept email going to 
user@conundrum.com.

The error message below is generated because you have a MX record for 
that domain name pointing to your mail server which doesn't know that it 
should accept email to that domain - so it sends it back out, and loops 
back in because of the MX record.. and so on...
