Hi,

I had similar problems when I tried to install FreeBSD on
an IBM DPES31080 SCSI Disk and Adaptec 1542CF. It produced
exactly the same error messages.
I tried another disk (IBM DORS32080) and everything was fine. For
me it seems to be an timing problem in the driver. But I am not
a kernel/driver "hacker"....

regards, Stephan
