Hmm. You may have some work to do here - I don't think the Linux
emulator's quite up to faking a Linux kernel development environment
yet 8-(

The only thing I can think of is having a look at the FreeBSD device
driver tutorial under http://www.freebsd.org/tutorials/ and then
trying to make a judgment on how difficult it would be to port it.
