My modem is at /dev/ttyd1. Also Hylafax can receive faxes but cant sent them. It looks like a permission problem somewhere. Something is preventing hylafax and kermit from dialing out whereas ecu just hits /dev/ttyd1 directly. I am running all 3 as root. Any ideas ? Thanks. Atif Khan aak2@ra.msstate.edu
